2 large ripe Anjou or Bartlett pears
½ cup frozen raspberries
generous ⅓ cup ice-cold water
honey, to taste (optional)
fresh raspberries, for decorating (optional)
1. Peel and quarter the pears, removing the cores. Place the pears in a blender with the raspberries and water and process until smooth.
2. Taste and sweeten with honey if the raspberries are a little sharp. Pour into chilled glasses, decorate with raspberries, if using, and serve.
